  • ⑴. 常温常压下为无色透明有恶臭的液体，遇水剧烈水解，易溶于己烷、庚烷等脂肪族饱和烃和甲苯、二甲苯等芳香族烃中。空气中能自燃，燃烧时产生氧化锌白烟。与水激烈反应，并分解发生可燃性乙烷气而着火。应在惰性气氛中保存。
  • ⑵. 与具有活泼氢的醇类、酸类激烈反应。遇水分解，生成氢氧化锌和乙烷。与三级卤代烃[例如(CH3)3CCl]反应可制取四级烃[如(CH3)3C·C2H5)。
