Appearance 棕红色粉状物,易溶于热水,溶于10份冷水,溶液呈黄红色;溶于乙醇呈橙色;极微溶于丙酮,几乎不溶于醚。溶于乙醇呈橙色,微溶于丙酮。在浓硫酸中呈深蓝色,稀释后呈浅蓝色有蓝针对沉淀。其水溶液加浓盐酸生成戏光蓝色沉淀;加乙酸生成呈蓝光紫色转为较红的蓝色沉淀。在浓烧碱中不溶解。对酸、盐敏感,即使从空气中吸收二氧化碳,也会使色泽变蓝暗,但用稀纯碱液处理可恢复原来色泽。
