方法一:1-甲基萘主要存在于萘油馏分（含量3.45%）和洗油馏分（含量约5.4%）中。1.萘油馏分提取硫杂茚后的塔底残油和洗油馏分经酸碱洗涤以后的中性油经过初步蒸馏，切取出230-270℃的粗甲基萘馏分，切取量为原料的25-30%，不低于60块理论塔板的精馏塔内精馏，采用20：1的回流比，切取240-250℃的甲基萘馏分。将甲基萘馏分在相同塔效的精馏塔内再重蒸一次，切取出237-241℃的可结晶馏分和241-245℃不结晶的馏分。可结晶馏分冷冻到-10--20℃，用离心分离法或压榨结晶法制取2-甲基萘。将滤液和上述不结晶的馏分合并，用原料量3-5%的95-98%的浓硫酸洗涤，用碱中和，洗涤并去除水分，再高效蒸馏塔上分馏除出小于241℃的馏分，用低温冷冻除去结晶，即得95%以上的工业级1-甲基萘。经反复磺化、水解可得98%纯度的精制品。2.在高温焦油中约含0.8%-1.2%，将230-300℃的洗油馏分脱酚，脱吡啶碱后，精馏切取240-245℃甲基萘馏分，冷冻至-20℃，此
